Volunteering in Buxton and the High Peak, Derbyshire
Volunteer Centre Buxton was established in 1983 to provide volunteering opportunities in Derbyshire for people of all ages and backgrounds.
People can come for advice, have 1:1 interviews and receive help on a wide variety of voluntary work, tailored to the individual. We hold details of all types of local and national voluntary work.
We also offer a range of services to the local community in which volunteers participate and support organisations from the voluntary, community and public sectors.

A wheelchair loan allows you to use one of numerous sized wheelchairs available at the centre that are free to loan. A donation would be gratefully accepted.
Hearing Aid Battery Exchange
Our Hearing Aid Battery Exchange service allows people who have NHS hearing aids to exchange their batteries for new ones at the Centre.
Meeting Room Hire is available from Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. Please contact us for availability and costs.

Computer Project Hire
Computer Project Hire allows you to hire out our new lightweight, portable Hitachi XGA projector that can be used for presentation purposes. Hire cost on application.
