Readycall
Readycall is a care and repair service. Originally created to provide a DIY and gardening service to disabled and older people. In May 2005 Readycall became a Social Enterprise, meaning that it can now open up its services to everyone.
It provides its own tools and equipment all that is needed is a power supply for mowers and hedge cutters etc. No job is too small, and larger jobs are always considered, for example once a conservatory was rebuilt.
Readycall is available for anything from decorating a room, small joinery and plumbing work, building steps, supplying and fitting hand and grab rails and most gardening work. It covers most of the High Peak area and some parts of the Hope Valley.
Offering competitive rates, the advantage of you using this service is that any profit made goes straight back into the community to subsidise people who physically cannot do the job themselves because of age or infirmity.
Reliable and clean, a good quality service is offered with workers who have been working in the local community for many years.
