Funding and Donations

Much of the work of Volunteer Centre Buxton is funded by Derbyshire County Council, Derbyshire Health Authority and High Peak Borough Council. Some projects also attract additional funding from sources such as Children in Need and the Big Lottery Fund.

Everything else we do is supported by donations from businesses and members of the public. Current contributors are listed in our annual reports. All the services we provide are to improve the lives of people in the local community and we are always looking for new contributors.

If you wish to donate to the volunteer centre, it's easy to do so! Either click the donate link over on the right hand side of this page to make a donation by credit or debit card, or by direct debit. If you'd prefer to donate by cheque, cheques should be made payable to Volunteer Centre Buxton and letters addressed to:

The Management Committee

Volunteer Centre Buxton is run by a management committee of volunteers, local people with an interest in promoting and developing volunteering in Buxton and the High Peak.

The management committee members are responsible for shaping the overall ethos of the Volunteer Centre and how it develops.
