High Peak Volunteering

Volunteer Centres Buxton & Glossop in partnership with Volunteer Centre New Mills, have been awarded Big Lottery Funding for a 5 year project across the High Peak. 

 

High Peak Volunteering will focus on outreach services in order to fill in the gaps in provision between the 3 volunteer centres.  Working throughout the High Peak, beginning in the Hope Valley, the project will be offering guidance, support, information and free training to organisations and groups which use volunteers.  The key aims for the project launch, future training sessions and manager’s forums is to engage and work closely with organisations from a wide variety of backgrounds, including hard to reach groups and groups from rural areas.
