Launch
The feedback received from the launch will help us to target local organisations in a more effective way. We will use this information to plan and shape future marketing and training strategies.
We now have desk space at Losehill Hall available to us as and when we need it, to give us a base in the
Volunteer Manager Forums
The first forum was held on December 1st, at Castleton Village Hall and was an evening forum to help attract community group leaders who would otherwise be working in the daytime.
The forum attracted 9 people in total and was a good mixture of people, some of whom knew each other and some who didn’t. This was beneficial for the attendees in terms of networking and sharing information.
The course is aimed at those organisations and departments within the Voluntary, Community and Statutory sectors and will provide an overview of getting your message across to potential volunteers and making your opportunity stand out amongst the other ones on offer.
