Taxi Driver and Passenger Assistant Training Costs
The Volunteer Centre Buxton & District is now offering training for taxi drivers. This training is for taxi drivers, operators and Passenger Assistants.
The training we offer will include the following: -
- Wheelchair Handling
- Assisting Disabled Passengers
- Professional Etiquette
- Wheelchair Securing
- Emergency Aid Advice
This training will only take 4 hours to complete and you will receive a certificate valid for 2 years
The training will involve some class based learning, a multiple choice theory assessment and a practical skills assessment for using and securing a wheelchair in a vehicle.
The Costs Per Person
Individual (single person)£70.00
Group booking discounts
2 People (booked on the same course at the same time) £67.00
3 People (booked on the same course at the same time) £64.00
4 People (booked on the same course at the same time) £62.00
5+ People (booked on the same course at the same time) £58.00
Training Sessions Available by request
*Please note a minimum of 4 people must be booked onto a course for it to go ahead
